My great grandfather, Jeremiah Pentland,was said to run his and other
cattle to market from Ballyworkan to Poyntzpass in the mid-late 1800s.
We visited the fellow that owned the same land in 2002 and he also has
some lovely cattle. Does anyone have any ideas, recollections,
pictures, stories, poetry, historical information about cattle
ranching in this area?
