Anyone know of Christine Canavan who was married to John Gavin, a cattle dealer? They had about seven children in poyntzpass. The last two were Isabelle and Christine, born about 1907 and 1908. Can't find anything in the census. Their mother canavan was still living in the 1930's when Isabelle came to visit from NYC.between 1935 and 1939.

Hi Willie, Maeve is getting feeble but still up & about. She lived v near us so we know all her 8 children v well. Her husband Gerry McIvor died about 10 yrs ago.
Joan lives in Foxrock, Dublin and his 5 children and Pat married an accountant Martin Moynihan, who I trained with. They have 4 children and are well, Pat spends a lot of time in the US.

Hi Colleen Gavin. Maybe Felix was a middle name for Eugene Gavan. Eugene was a brother of my grandmother, Isabelle Gavan. I remember she used to talk of a nephew who would visit. Another brother was Charles, but he died in WW1, at the age of 16. The whole family, including the pigs, is on record for the 1911 census, but the name is spelled "Gavan", not "Gavin". And they lived in Acton.
